How To Repair LCD Monitors
July 20, 2008
Lately, I have been finding more and more LCD monitors and flat screen TVs in the trash or for $1 at flea markets and garage sales. All of these are broken but in 4 out of 5 cases I was able to repair them for under $5 and then resell them as refurbished. I have 100% positive feedback.
I used to do this with good old fashioned TV sets. People would throw them out thinking they were broken and I would pick them up, replace a 25 cent fuse and 1 out of 2 would fire right up and be resellable. With LCD monitors, it’s still easy but you have to know the tricks.![]()
Jestine Yong’s course on LCD Monitor Repair is perfect. If you like tinkering with electronics to see how they work then you can definitely learn from this course. It’s got a bunch of bonus material and reference material and it’s the same stuff Jestine teaches professionally at his school. At less than $50, you will make it back on the first monitor that you fix and resell.
